Give Mommy Some Touch-Free, Bubble Time

It happens that moms of young children often hit a “touched out” tipping point at the end of a day. It just makes sense, when you consider her hours likely consist of soothing cuddles, wiping bottoms and making sunbutter sandwiches while small humans hang from her limbs.

Father, author and Scary Mommy contributor Clint Edwards listened when his wife confessed that she just wanted to crawl inside of a bubble at the end of the day. He listened and took action, setting his honey up with an hour or so of alone time so she could take a timeout with Netflix, a bubble bath or whatever and essentially reboot, sheltered from needy paws. Clint found giving mommy some touch-free time to be a win/win for all involved. Dads, take note.
